Joe April is an Associate with Phoenix. Mr. April joined the firm in June 2007 as an analyst after graduating from Drexel University. During Mr. April’s tenure at Phoenix, he has been involved in capital advisory services in a broad array of industries including: distribution, manufacturing, refinery, retail, technology, consumer products and telecommunications.
Mr. April primarily focuses his time with Phoenix’s capital advisory group, Phoenix Capital Resources, where he has advised middle market companies on a wide range of transactions including buy and sell side mergers & acquisitions, financial restructurings and recapitalizations.
Selected Investment Banking Experience
Served as the investment banker to a $35 million steel parts manufacturer through the successful completion of a target acquisition and refinancing of the NewCo.
Served as a financial advisor to a commercial bank, performing a viability assessment of a $180 million merger in the retail gifts sector
Served as a financial advisor to a $150 million resin manufacturer, performing a wide range of advisory services including operational & financial assessments, detailed cash flow forecasts and financial budget modeling

Mr. April graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Mr. April is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and holds his Series 7, Series 79, Series 28 and Series 63 licenses.
