Patrick Hughes is an investment banking professional with over 5 years of transactional advisory experience. Advised shareholders of a commercial nuclear power plant service provider on a sale to a private equity fund.

Advised shareholders of a provider of specialized components to the coal-fire power plant industry in a dividend recapitalization.

Advised shareholders of RHE Hatco, (an HM Capital company) manufacturers of Stetson and Resistol Western-themed headwear and apparel in an undisclosed sale to a strategic purchaser.

Provided valuation and strategic guidance to the shareholders of a manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer electronics accessories.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Hughes was employed as a mergers & acquisitions analyst with Harris Williams & Co., one of the largest mergers and acquisitions advisory firms in the United States, serving the middle market exclusively. In that capacity Mr. Hughes advised a number of clients in sell-side mandates across a number of industries with an emphasis on Energy & Power, Business Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, and Apparel.

Education/Affiliations

Mr. Hughes has a Master’s Degree in Finance from Boston College, where he was a Dean’s Scholar. Mr. Hughes graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from the Honors Program at Saint Joseph’s University where he was Student Body President, Managing Editor of The Hawk campus newspaper, and a Presidential Scholar. Mr. Hughes is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and holds his Series 79 and Series 63 licenses.
